1:72 Grumman A-6E Intruder is an Eduard Big Ed package of photo-etched accessories for a model of the carrier attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The box brings together several Eduard photo-etched sets aimed at a model of the A-6E Intruder carrier attack aircraft in the small 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory with which a model bought separately is fitted out. It brings together in one package several sets that are also sold separately, which for a builder tends to be more convenient than hunting for them one at a time.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a two-seat carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy and the Marine Corps, designed for striking in any weather. The crew sat side by side, which made cooperation between the pilot and the systems operator easier. Subsonic but enduring, the machine carried a heavy load under the wing and was deployed from the Vietnam War to the operations in the Persian Gulf, where it was among the mainstays of the strike wings.
In 1:72 the photo-etched parts are genuinely small, so work over a light tray with a high rim and keep tweezers with a straight tip at hand. Do not separate a part with nippers but with a cutter pressed against the surface. Meter the glue out through a pin or a wire so that a drop does not spread into the surroundings. Do not touch finished parts with your fingers until the glue has fully cured, or they will bend easily.
The aircraft model has to be obtained separately, as the package does not contain it.
