A Quinta Studio vacuum-formed clear canopy for Hawker Typhoon Mk.1b models (the early version) in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a standalone accessory. The vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy from the manufacturer Quinta Studio replaces the plastic canopy of the Hawker Typhoon Mk.1b fighter-bomber in the early version in 1:72 scale. The thin-walled, perfectly transparent molding looks truer than the production parts.
The Hawker Typhoon was a British fighter-bomber of the Second World War, famous for its strikes on ground targets. The early Mk.1b version was marked out by the characteristic shape of its canopy, which this accessory reproduces faithfully.
Cut the molding out carefully with a sharp knife right at the edge and sand it to the exact shape. The framing is best made with masks or narrow strips of decal. Glue it with clear canopy cement or a small amount of super glue so that it does not fog.
The accessory does not hold an aircraft model. It is meant for the matching kit in 1:72 scale, which is not included in the package.
