Masks in 1:72 for the camouflage of the Israeli IAI Kfir C2 and C7, supplemented with stencils for the Star of David.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kfir grew out of the airframe of the French Mirage, into which Israel built an American engine and to which it added small front surfaces ahead of the wing. These improved handling at high angles of attack and gave the machine an unmistakable silhouette. The C2 version brought exactly these surfaces and a reworked nose, the later C7 then improved avionics and higher engine thrust. The aircraft wore a desert camouflage of sand and brown fields with a blue-gray underside.
Alongside the pattern for spraying, the set also contains stencils for the Israeli stars. An insignia created in paint has the advantage over a decal that it nowhere reflects light on the surface and does not create a step that would have to be flooded with varnish.
The Kfir was also sold to Colombia, Sri Lanka and Ecuador, so besides the desert fields there is a whole range of foreign finishes. This item, however, aims at the Israeli form of the machine including the corresponding national insignia. The front surfaces ahead of the wing significantly change the flow over the fuselage, so the boundaries of the colors on the spine look different than on the original Mirage.
The films are supplied on their own; the model and the paints do not belong with them.
