Peewit, pre-cut painting masks for the JAS-39D Gripen, 1:72 scale are a self-adhesive masking set for plastic models, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accurately pre-cut self-adhesive masking set from Peewit for plastic models of the two-seat version of the Swedish Saab JAS-39D Gripen multirole fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a model and not a kit but a painting accessory bought separately. The masks are cut to the shape of the glazing of the longer two-seat cockpit and of further areas of the model, so that you spray the frames with sharp edges and none of the labor of cutting tape out. The material follows the curvature of the canopy and leaves no adhesive on the part once lifted.
The Saab Gripen is a Swedish fourth-generation multirole fighter with a delta wing and canard foreplanes. The abbreviation JAS stands for its three roles: fighter, attack and reconnaissance. The JAS-39D version is the two-seater, with a lengthened fuselage and a second cockpit behind the pilot; it serves for training and for combat duties that call for a second crew member. The Gripen is among the modern light fighters and a number of air forces operate it.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry. Move the masks with tweezers, lay them into the frames and press the edges down with a toothpick against paint running under them. Spray the frame shade first, then the primer and the camouflage, and lift the masks off while the paint is fresh.
This is a masking set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
