A replacement vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy for models of the F6F-3 and F6F-5 Hellcat fighters in 1:72 scale from Quinta Studio. It is an accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The thin-walled clear part stands out for higher optical clarity and finer frames than the injection-molded production canopy, so it markedly improves the look of an open or a closed cockpit. The target kit is Eduard.
The accessory will be appreciated by modelers who want to bring out the cockpit of their Hellcat with a thinner and cleaner canopy. We recommend it to more experienced builders with some experience of working with vacuum-formed parts.
