Replacement radiators for a Junkers Ju 88 A-4 model in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost add-on range. They improve the front of the engine nacelle.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Junkers Ju 88 A-4 is the most widespread combat version of the German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War. Compared with the earlier production it received a greater span and a strengthened structure so that it could carry a higher takeoff weight. The engines are liquid cooled and the radiator sits in an annular cowl right at the front of the engine nacelle. That is where the characteristic rounded front of the nacelle comes from, which is why the Ju 88 is often mistaken at first glance for an aircraft with a radial engine.
Replacement radiators for a Ju 88 A-4 model in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost add-on range. They are fitted in place of the kit parts and improve both the shape and the subdivision of the front of the nacelle, that is, the area a viewer has right in front of their eyes on a finished model. The extent of the set and the kit it is tuned for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene and are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder carefully so that the mating face stays flat. Cut the kit plastic away only once you have the replacement part cleaned up and tested dry. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, as paint does not hold on a greasy surface. Paint the inner surfaces before you seat the part, because afterwards a brush will no longer reach them.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
