1:72 Junkers Ju-87B-1 /K/R

Junkers Ju-87B-1/K/R 1:72 (Xtradecal)

A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale intended for plastic models of the Junkers Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber. The sheet covers the early operational B-1 form, the long-range R variant and the K export designation. The decals are applied onto a coat of gloss varnish and add national insignia, tactical codes and the personal markings of particular machines to the model.

The real subject

The Junkers Ju 87 was one of the best known aircraft of the Luftwaffe. Fixed landing gear with aerodynamic fairings, cranked wings and sirens gave the Stuka its unmistakable look. The B version was the main operational variant at the start of the war, while the long-range R carried auxiliary fuel tanks for operations over the sea and over greater distances. The period German national markings are treated on the sheet neutrally, as a historical subject.

Use

• Coat the surface under the decals with gloss varnish and only then apply them.
• Cut the item off, dip it in lukewarm water and, once it releases, slide it off the backing onto the model.
• We recommend a decal softener for bedding into engraved lines and onto curved surfaces.
• Once dry, coat it with a matte or satin varnish according to the type of surface.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Ju 87 in 1:72 scale.
• Anyone interested in the early operational and long-range versions of the Stuka.
• Collectors who want to extend the marking options beyond the basic kit.

This is a stand-alone set of decals, not a kit. The airplane model and paints are not included in the package.
