The television-homing version of the Kh-29T Kedge in 1:72 scale from AMMO of Mig Jimenez. Two pieces with guidance sensors and launch equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
The television variant of the heavy tactical missile, completed with AKU-58 launch racks, guidance sensors, clear parts with covers and a decal sheet. The resin print preserves even the small hinges of the control surfaces.
While the laser version needs someone to illuminate the target, the letter T marks a television correlation seeker. The pilot picks the target on a screen before launch and the missile then keeps track of it on its own, so the launch aircraft can turn away immediately after release. Over dense air defenses that tends to be a decisive advantage. The difference shows on a model too, because the front section with the optical window has a different shape from a head following a beam. The weapon was created for frontline aircraft of the 1980s and has stayed in the inventory to this day.
Cover the optical window with a drop of masking fluid before spraying, so that it stays clear. Hang the missiles on the inner pylons, where their weight puts them, and check the distance from the fuselage. The gray body is brought to life by light shading of the individual panels and discreet emphasis of the hinges; exaggerated wear would look out of place on production ordnance.
Paints, glue and the carrier aircraft are not enclosed.
