A plastic kit of the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-61 II Kai Hien in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer RS models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese fighter Kawasaki Ki-61 II Kai in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS models. It is a short-run kit, usually supplemented with small resin parts and a clear canopy. A decal sheet is in the package.
The Ki-61 Hien was the only Japanese production fighter of the Second World War with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine. The Ki-61 II Kai version received a more powerful engine and a reworked airframe with a new vertical tail, and it became the basis for the later all-metal Ki-100. The aircraft was fielded in the defense of Japanese airspace.
This is a kit for more experienced modelers. Glue the plastic with a thin cement for plastic; first wash any resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a base coat and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
