A resin set of winter thermal insulating hood mats for models of the Soviet KrAZ-255B 6x6 truck in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set adds to models of the heavy Soviet KrAZ-255B 6x6 truck the characteristic winter thermal insulating mats that covered the engine hood in hard frost so that the engine would not freeze. It is a typical detail of vehicles in winter service and gives a model a story and credibility.
The resin parts faithfully capture the quilted texture and the folds of the fabric mats. They come into their own after painting and shading that brings out wear and dust.
Before fitting, separate the parts from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue, and a coat of primer underneath is worth applying.
