Eduard B-26 Marauder engines 1:72 is a Brassin resin set of two radial engines for models of the Martin B-26 Marauder.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard Brassin detail set contains a pair of radial engines for models of the medium bomber Martin B-26 Marauder in 1:72 scale. The engines are cast in resin with rich rendering of the cylinders and the valve gear; the set is completed by small photo-etched parts and decals. The result offers a realistic replacement for the simplified engines from the basic kit.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, powered by a pair of air-cooled Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. The machine was famous for its high landing speed and sturdy structure; once the tactics had matured it was among the most reliable types in its category.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and attach the photo-etched elements with a drop of cyanoacrylate or with photo-etch adhesive. The engines come out well with a dark metallic base, a dry brush on the cylinder heads and a fine wash; the decals go onto a smooth gloss surface.
This is an accessory set of engines, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue or paints.
