1:72 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3/4/7 Wing Guns is a CMK resin detailing accessory in 1:72 scale. It replaces the wing armament on a Bf 109E model; it is not a kit of the aircraft.

This is a resin detailing set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK, intended for finishing a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E in the E-3, E-4 and E-7 versions. The set takes care of the wing armament, that is the part that injection molds can only manage in simplified form in a small scale. The contents of the package and the number of parts are stated on the box.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was a single-engine fighter with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine. The E-3, E-4 and E-7 versions carried armament in the wings as well as the fuselage machine guns, and its muzzles and covers are clearly apparent on the lower and the upper surface of the wing. It is exactly this detail that is quickly lost on a model in 1:72 scale if it stays molded in one piece with the plastic wing.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap so that they are rid of any residue of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, do not break them off. When sanding resin, protect your airways and sand wet if possible. It is glued with superglue; cement for plastic will not help here. Leave the muzzles until the end of the build, as they are fragile and break off easily during masking. You will get a metal look with a dark graphite shade and fine polishing, and discreet dark soiling comes in handy around the muzzles.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and it is not a model of an aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Before buying, please check that the set matches your own particular kit.
