Bf 109G radio compartment PRINT 1:72 is a 3D-printed resin detail set from Eduard that refines the fitting out of the radio compartment in the fuselage on a Messerschmitt Bf 109G model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket detail set, not an airplane model. The set brings precisely shaped 3D-printed resin parts for the radio compartment behind the cockpit, which replace or complement the simplified parts of a plastic kit. It is intended for Messerschmitt Bf 109G models in 1:72 scale. Thanks to direct 3D printing the parts have crisp edges and fine surface relief that cannot otherwise be achieved in such a small scale.
On the late versions of the Bf 109 the radio compartment is one of the exposed places, especially with the service hatches open or in a diorama treatment. The set makes it possible to show this area realistically, with layers of wiring, instruments and support frames.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, separate them carefully from the print supports and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Treating the base with a primer is advisable, and the details are best brought out with shades and a fine wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory for an existing kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
