This set from the SPACE line by Eduard joins colored 3D decals with photo-etched steel parts and is intended for a detailed upgrade of the interior of a model of the Messerschmitt Me 410A-1/U-2 heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but an add-on detail set. Three-dimensionally printed instrument panels and seat belts give the cockpit a raised and faithfully colored look.
The Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse was a German twin-engine heavy fighter and fast bomber of the Second World War that followed on from the less successful Me 210 type. The version with the U-2 field conversion kit was adapted for the heavy fighter role with strengthened armament against Allied bombers.
The 3D decals are not self-adhesive. With a damp sponge and a drop of dish soap, moisten only the backing paper under the part, do not dip the sheet in water, lift the element with tweezers and fix it with white PVA glue; the manufacturer does not recommend super glue. Do not use decal softener; it attacks the printed resin. Bend the tiny photo-etched parts over an edge and glue them with super glue. Given the small scale, work with sharp tweezers.
