This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model. The exactly cast cannon barrels replace the soft plastic parts from the kit of the Soviet MiG-15bis jet fighter in 1:72 scale. The resin version has a sharper muzzle profile and more accurate detail than injection-molded plastic, which bends easily. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The MiG-15bis was the improved version of the famous Soviet MiG-15 jet fighter with a more capable engine and further modifications. It kept the swept wings and the heavy gun armament grouped under the nose and became one of the most widespread variants of the type. It is exactly the cannon barrels that this set refines.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water so that the remains of the mold release from the mold disappear. Separate the barrels from the casting block carefully with a sharp knife, clean up the face and glue them in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways with a respirator while sanding resin. For accuracy the muzzles can be lightly drilled out with a micro drill.
