This resin 3D-printed set from 77propeller adds two key shape elements to models of the MiG-21F-13 fighter in 1:72 scale: the intake cone with the radome (the nose cone) and the exhaust nozzle of the engine. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the basic plastic parts.
The MiG-21F-13 had a characteristic circular nose intake with a movable center cone and a single-flow engine with a prominent exhaust nozzle. These are exactly the areas that tend to be simplified in small scales, which is why more accurate resin parts pay off.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash them free of uncured resin residue and glue them with super glue. On the inside of the nozzle metallic shades and dark accents in the recesses work well. Check the fit on the fuselage before gluing.
The set contains resin parts only; the aircraft model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
