This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not a stand-alone airplane model. It replaces the original cockpit of a plastic MiG-29A Fulcrum kit with a solid resin casting with crisp detail of the tub, the seat, the side consoles and the instrument panel. It is intended for experienced modelers who want to lift the cockpit above the level of the molding from the box.
The MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) was a Soviet twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter. It excelled in agility in close-in maneuvering combat and became one of the most widespread fighters of its era in the service of many countries. The version designated A is the basic single-seat form.
This is a resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts free of mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the cut surfaces – always with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue; try the surfaces dry before fixing them. It pays to paint the cockpit and bring it out before closing up the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
