Injection-molded plastic kit of the armed anti-tank version of the light Mil Mi-2 helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The box contains parts in gray plastic, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model has engraved texture, a cabin interior and the pylons with anti-tank armament typical of the URP version.
The Mil Mi-2 is a light twin-engine helicopter series-built under license in Poland by PZL. The Mi-2URP version is the armed anti-tank machine fitted with pylons for guided anti-tank missiles and with gun armament. It served to destroy armored vehicles and to give fire support to ground forces. It is precisely the presence of the anti-tank missiles and the armament that sets this combat version apart from the plain transport form of the Mi-2.
Separate the small armament parts from the sprues carefully with a sharp blade. Glue the fuselage with thin modeling cement and finish the interior before closing it up. Apply a primer before painting, then spray with an airbrush. Mask the multi-color camouflage schemes and apply them in thin coats. A gloss varnish compatible with the paint will prepare the base for the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
