It is not an aircraft kit and not a spare part for one: it is a separate figure that you place beside a finished model, in a diorama or in a display case. The designation in the name refers to the two-seat versions of the Mirage 2000 and to the Taiwanese setting, so the figure fits best into a scene built around this type.
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine fighter with a tailless delta wing, powered by a SNECMA M53 turbojet. Alongside the single-seat machines, two-seat versions were also built: the Mirage 2000B is the training variant, while the Mirage 2000N and Mirage 2000D are two-seat machines made for attacking ground targets. The delta wing gives the type high agility and the ability to fly at great altitude, but at the same time it means a higher landing speed, which is why the aircraft has a characteristically long nose gear leg and a markedly nose-high attitude at touchdown. It was the two-seat versions in particular that European and Asian air forces used both for training and for live tasks.
The figure is small, so it pays to clean and degrease it before painting and to work with it mounted on a stick or a toothpick, keeping your fingers off the finished surface. A proven procedure is a thin base, then the base shade of the flight suit and the helmet, and only after that the shading. In a small scale the combination that works best is dark tinting into the folds and drybrushing on the edges, which keeps the figure readable even from the distance at which a model is usually looked at. Leave the face until last and work with a very sharp brush; in this scale it is better to merely suggest the eyes, because pronounced whites look unnatural. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
