The Aires 1:72 Mosquito FB Mk.VI / NF Mk.II bomb bay is a resin aftermarket accessory for experienced modelers that renders the inside of the bomb bay of this British multirole aircraft in detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not a model in its own right. It renders the bomb bay of a de Havilland Mosquito plastic kit in detail, in the FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber and NF Mk.II night fighter versions: the inner structure of the bay as well as the doors, which let you present the aircraft with the bomb bay open. The set is meant for experienced modelers.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure, famous for its high speed. The FB Mk.VI version was a fighter-bomber with fixed armament in the nose and under the wings, and the NF Mk.II served as a night fighter. The machine proved itself on precision strikes, on night interception and on reconnaissance.
This is a resin casting for advanced builders. First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the cut surfaces, always with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); dry-fit the surfaces before you fix them. Paint the inner surfaces and bring them up before they are covered, while they are still easy to reach.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
