A masking set for painting a model of the Czechoslovak Mraz M-1C sport aircraft in 1:72 scale. According to the name it is intended for the KP kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mraz M-1C, known by the name Sokol, is a postwar Czechoslovak sport and touring aircraft. It is a low-wing aircraft of all-wood construction with an enclosed cabin for the pilot and passengers and with fixed landing gear. Sokols were used in sport and flying club flying and part of the production went abroad as well; to this day they are remembered as one of the best known postwar Czech machines of their category.
This is a masking set for painting a model in 1:72 scale, prepared according to the name for the KP kit. The masks are cut to shape, so tape does not have to be cut on the part itself. In a small scale the frames of the glazing are narrow and spray badly freehand, and that is exactly where a precisely cut mask pays off most.
The masks are stuck on before spraying, onto a clean, degreased and dry surface. Handle the small pieces with tweezers or the tip of a toothpick, otherwise they crumple easily. Press the edges down firmly and apply the paint in thin coats perpendicular to the surface; with an angled spray the paint runs under and the edge blurs. Take the mask off shortly after it has dried, with a pull at an angle to the side.
The package contains a masking set. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
