Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the early version of the American P-51A Mustang fighter in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Italeri. It is a straightforward kit suited to less experienced modelers as well; the box holds plastic parts, clear glazing and decals for several marking options. A smaller model that is pleasant to build.
The North American P-51A Mustang was the early version of the famous American fighter, powered by an Allison V12 engine with a three-blade propeller. Unlike the later versions with the Merlin engine, the Allison Mustang stood out above all at lower altitudes and was armed with 12.7 mm machine guns in the wings. It was used from 1942, and in British service it carried the name Mustang.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage up; masking the glazing pays off. Lay down a primer before painting and apply the colors with an airbrush. On bare metal surfaces metalizer paints over a smooth, polished base work well; apply the decals over gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
