The decal sheet 1:72 RAF History 41 Sqn, part one from the maker Xtradecal is devoted to the markings of No. 41 Squadron of the RAF.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is a decal sheet in 1:72 scale, that is, an accessory for a model that has been built. The British maker Xtradecal placed it in its series of squadron sheets, and it is the first part of a series devoted to No. 41 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. The designation of the first part is a distinguishing detail, not a repetition of another product. The particular aircraft types and the number of schemes are given on the packaging and in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
Squadron sheets follow one unit across its equipment and its color schemes. No. 41 Squadron of the RAF is one of the units with a long history reaching back to the First World War, and it has been through both the propeller and the jet era. For the modeler such a sheet is a way to build a group of models that differ from one another and yet hold together through the badge of one unit.
Squadron sheets usually include small pieces of lettering and insignia a few millimeters across. These call for a different approach than large areas. Work with sharp tweezers with smooth jaws, under plenty of light and preferably with a magnifier. A small decal is transferred from the paper with a damp pointed brush, not with your fingers. If a marking sticks in the wrong place, do not try to pull it; put a drop of water on it, wait and move it gently with the brush.
The decal sheet is an accessory. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
