This is not a kit but a decal set. It completes a Hurricane Mk.I model with the national insignia and markings of machines that served in the Romanian Air Force. This sheet is marked as the first part, and the second part of the same range is sold as a sheet on its own, so the sets can be got separately according to which machine you want to build.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-engine fighter aircraft of mixed construction, in which a tubular framework was combined with covering. Besides the Royal Air Force it was operated in small numbers by a number of other states, and their machines differ from British ones in markings and coloring alike. That tends to be exactly the reason why modelers reach for a separate decal set.

How to apply the decals

Finish the model in paint and polish it over with gloss varnish before the decals, or the edges of the film will whiten. Release a decal in warm water, move it into place and draw the surplus water off. On fabric surfaces and seams use softener, so that the decal follows the surface and does not stand over an edge. Once everything has dried perfectly, even the surface out with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
