Responsibility details are not available.
Open large-volume bins of the kind brought up to demolition sites, to renovations and everywhere building material is being cleared away. In a scene they explain what is going on in the place, and that without a single further figure.
A bin brought up in front of a damaged house tells the viewer the whole story: the clearing has begun, hardware is driving in here, the space is in motion. That is exactly why it pays to place it on the axis of the view, so that it does not disappear behind a model. The open shape moreover allows a look inside, which is not possible with closed bins.
Finish the inside and color it through before you fill it. Small scatter, fragments of plaster and pieces of a broken plaster casting will create a heap that you fix with thinned PVA glue. The outer walls will take a proper dose of rust on the edges and the welds, because these bins are used hard and a brand-new look would be out of place on them.
For builders of displays of demolition and rebuilding and for modelers of construction hardware whose scene lacks an aim the machine is working toward. The bin will give the whole arrangement a sense and an action.
Obtain the material for the filling, the paints and the ground of the display separately.
