An injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy jet fighter Su-27UB in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter. The model has engraved panel lines, a two-seat cockpit with ejection seats, well-worked landing gear and clear parts of the cockpit canopy; a decal sheet is included.
The Su-27 is a heavy Soviet twin-engined fighter with a lift-generating blended arrangement of the fuselage and the wing. The Su-27UB version is the two-seat combat trainer variant with two seats in tandem, serving for training crews as well as for combat tasks. Under the NATO reporting system it carries the name Flanker.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and careful cleaning up of the joints of the large fuselage. Finish the interior of both cockpits before closing the fuselage. An airbrush and a base primer are suitable for the typical gray-blue camouflages; a gloss varnish under the decals will prevent silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
