Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish RWD-5 sporting and touring aircraft and of its RWD-5 bis version in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Plastyk. It is a classic older tool of simpler execution; the package contains plastic sprues and a decal sheet. The exact contents differ between boxings.
The RWD-5 was a small Polish low-wing monoplane of mixed construction from the first half of the 1930s, used for sporting and touring flying. The special RWD-5 bis version wrote itself into the history of long-distance flight: in May 1933 the pilot Stanislaw Skarzynski became the first to cross the South Atlantic in an aircraft of this weight class. The aircraft was powered by an inline or a radial engine, depending on the particular version.
With an older, simpler tool, expect to clean the parts up more carefully and to fill and sand the joints. Glue with a thin plastic cement and fix the small parts with super glue. Apply a primer before painting, lay the shades down with an airbrush or a brush, and finish and mask the glazing before the final color.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
