Responsibility details are not available.
A color photo-etched instrument panel for models of the Polish RWD-8 trainer in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. This version corresponds to machines built by PWS. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for a cockpit. The panel is painted and assembled by the manufacturer and ready to be glued in, so it replaces the simplified plastic panel from the kit.
The RWD-8 was a Polish two-seat trainer and liaison high-wing monoplane of the 1930s, one of the most widely used Polish aircraft of its day. It was built in parallel at two factories, PWS and DWL, between which there were small differences. This panel corresponds to the version built by PWS.
Cut or thin down the plastic panel from the kit, degrease the mating surface and seat the color photo-etched part with cyanoacrylate. The layered construction gives the instrument panel real depth and legible instruments. The work calls for tweezers and a feel for small photo-etched parts.
This is a cockpit accessory, not an aircraft model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
