A multimedia kit of the light multipurpose Aérospatiale (Sud-Aviation) Alouette II helicopter in 1:72 scale from Brengun. The kit combines injection-molded and vacuum-formed plastic parts, resin additions and photo-etched elements, and thanks to that it offers a high level of detail. The decals make it possible to build the machine in the variants of several countries, including France, Germany and Israel. It is a more demanding kit for more experienced modelers.
The Alouette II was one of the first series-built helicopters with a turboshaft engine and became a widespread light machine for liaison, observation, training and rescue duties. It served with a number of civil and military operators all over the world.
Fit the parts together dry with care and glue the resin and photo-etched elements with super glue. We recommend a primer base and painting with an airbrush; the fine photo-etched parts and the cabin glazing call for patience. Cut the vacuum-formed clear cabin parts out thin-walled and polish them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
