A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a separate ejection seat with cast safety belts, with which you replace the simple part from the plastic kit. The fine resin rendering lifts the detail of an open cockpit markedly.
The Hawker Sea Hawk was a British single-seat carrier-based jet fighter and attack aircraft of the 1950s. It served with naval aviation and in a number of other countries; its pilot sat on an ejection seat whose faithful rendering is the key to the look of an open cockpit in a small scale.
Wash the part free of mold release agent residue, part the casting block off carefully and glue it with cyanoacrylate. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The cast belts come out best after a primer coat, fine shading and drybrushing.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
