An injection-molded plastic kit of the American shipborne SH-60F Oceanhawk anti-submarine helicopter in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The package holds parts in gray plastic, clear glazing and a decal sheet. The model has finely engraved panel and rivet detail, a thoroughly worked cabin interior, separately molded doors and a drop tank.
The SH-60 Seahawk is an American shipborne multirole helicopter derived from the army UH-60. The SH-60F version is intended above all for anti-submarine warfare from the decks of aircraft carriers and entered service at the end of the 1980s. It protects naval task groups against submarines, provides search and rescue and carries out other naval duties. Unlike the army transport Black Hawk it is a specialized naval machine with equipment for operating over the sea.
Join the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement. Finish the interior of the cabin before closing the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting, then spray the naval gray shades with an airbrush in thin coats. A gloss clear coat compatible with the paint will prepare the base under the decals and protect them from damage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
