The real subject

The Su-17 (the Su-22 in export form) was a Soviet fighter-bomber with a variable-geometry wing - the outer wing panels swept in flight, which combined good takeoff behavior with high speed. The M4 version was one of the most advanced late forms with upgraded avionics and was used by the Soviet Air Force and by a number of friendly air forces. It was a rugged strike aircraft meant for attacks on ground targets.

• In 1:72 scale the elements are small - cut them out with a sharp knife and transfer them with tweezers.
