A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with the markings of Polish Su-22 fighter-bombers, the second part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-22 is the export designation of the Soviet Su-17 family of fighter-bombers with a variable-geometry wing. The outer wing sections sweep back on it, so the aircraft manages a short takeoff as well as a fast pass over the target. Poland was among its long-standing European users and this sheet is devoted precisely to the Polish machines. It is the second part of the series.
An accessory for plastic models in 1:72 scale: the printing is applied to a finished, sprayed model and replaces the hand painting of national insignia, numbers and legends. How many machines and which schemes this part covers is given in the instructions issued with the sheet. Use them to check which kit the motifs are shaped for as well.
Go over the area under the motif with a gloss varnish, so the edges of the printing do not silver. Cut the motif out closely to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing, slide it onto the model. Blot the surplus water away with soft paper; on busy places a softener helps, and the motif is not moved afterward. In 1:72 scale the motifs are small, so it pays to work with tweezers with smoothed jaws and to keep a damp brush at hand for adjusting the position. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The package holds a decal sheet. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
