This resin set brings a more accurately shaped nose for a model of the Sukhoi Su-27 in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The casting puts right the shape of the forward fuselage and the radome, which tends to be inaccurate in base molds.
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a Soviet twin-engine air superiority fighter with a characteristically elongated fuselage and a wide span. The shape of the nose with the radome strongly determines the distinctive silhouette of the aircraft, so getting it right matters for the final look of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Try the joint with the fuselage dry beforehand. Recommended for more experienced modelers. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
