A resin detail set from the Aires brand in 1:72 scale containing the wheels of the Su-27 Flanker fighter in the late standard together with masking film. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the plastic wheels of a kit with a more faithful rendering with a fine relief of the tires and the hubs.
The Su-27 Flanker is a single-seat fighter intended to win air superiority, with a long range and two engines. The late standard differs from the early production batches in details of equipment, which may be reflected in the look of the wheels and the hubs as well.
Wash the wheels to remove mold release residue and separate them from the casting blocks. The masking film supplied makes it easy to separate the tire color from the hub cleanly: stick it onto the hub, spray the tire color and take it off once it is dry. Bond the resin parts with super glue.
This is a resin accessory with masks. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
