Quinta Studio Su-27SM 1:72 - a colored 3D interior

This set is NOT a kit of an aircraft but an interior detail accessory. These are 3D printed and fully pre-colored elements of the cockpit on decal paper. They replace the flat cockpit parts of a plastic kit and give the pilot's station depth as well as color without painting.

How the set works

• It combines the simplicity of a decal with raised 3D relief.
• It typically holds the instrument panel, the side consoles and other elements of the cabin.
• In the small 1:72 scale it lifts the detail of an otherwise tiny cockpit fundamentally.

Application tips

• Cut the elements out, soak them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide them off the backing paper onto a clean, degreased surface gone over with a gloss varnish.
• Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer at all, as they would attack the printed resin and the relief would deform.
• Work with tweezers and in good light.
