Supermarine Spitfire HF.VII 1:72 – painting mask is a set of self-adhesive Peewit masks for spraying the glazing of the high-altitude version of the famous fighter cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from the Peewit brand in 1:72 scale, cut from kabuki paper. The masks follow the canopy frames of the Spitfire in its high-altitude HF.VII version exactly, so you mask them off for spraying quickly and with crisp edges. The clear parts stay clear and the frames gain precise outlines.
The Supermarine Spitfire HF.VII was a high-altitude fighter derived from the Spitfire line. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger and the machine was adapted for combat at great altitudes, among other things by longer wings.
Lift the masks off the backing, apply them to the canopy frames and press them down. It is recommended to spray the color of the inner frames first and then the final outer shade; once that is dry, remove the masks carefully.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
