A resin detail set from Aires in 1:72 scale. It contains a complete gun bay with worked-out detail of the armament and of the internal structure of the wing for models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter. It lets you open the covers and reveal the armament in the wing.
It is a super-detailing upgrade that markedly raises the realism of an opened wing. The set replaces the plastic parts with castings that have a fine texture; it typically calls for the relevant part of the wing to be cut away and cleaned up according to the instructions.
