Kelik 1:72 T-33A Shooting Star is a set of 3D decals for both cockpits of the legendary jet trainer.
Responsibility details are not available.
The trainer has glazing across the whole length of its tandem cockpit, so the inside really is clearly visible. Printed decals with a raised surface therefore make sense: they supply color as well as relief where empty plastic would strike the eye.
The Lockheed T-33A grew out of the first American production jet fighter by having its fuselage lengthened and a second seat inserted by the designers. It first flew in 1948, was powered by the Allison J33 engine and over five thousand were built, with more produced under license in Canada and Japan. Dozens of air forces trained their young pilots on it long after the combat types of its generation had disappeared from the scene. Besides training, these machines also carried out liaison and target-towing duties, and the last examples were still flying in the new millennium.
The tandem station is best managed by cutting both parts out in advance and putting them down on a piece of paper labeled according to their placement. It is not hard to mix them up. Apply onto cooled gloss clear coat and use a soft brush for pressing down, not the tip of tweezers.
The contents of the package are the internal equipment, not a model of the aircraft itself.
