A kit of the Nissan 240RS (BS110) competition special of 1983 in 1:24 scale - a rear-wheel-drive car from the era of the great rallies.
Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the factory competition special 240RS. Hasegawa has placed it among its Japanese sports cars and offers it as a set of injection-molded parts for a build for a display case.
The 240RS came about as a homologation variant derived from the Silvia coupe and carried the factory code BS110. In place of the ordinary powerplant it received a naturally aspirated four-cylinder with twin overhead camshafts, and the drive stayed at the rear wheels. In an age of turbo engines and all-wheel drive coming to the fore it was technically conservative, but exceptionally durable, and so it did well mainly on the rough African routes. For the factory team it was the last great competition car driven by the rear wheels.
The widened fenders have sharp transitions, which will stand out after painting only if you clean them up perfectly beforehand. Paint the roll cage in the cabin before you glue it into the body. Matte the tires down slightly, so that they do not look as if from a shop window. Apply the dust and mud sparingly, otherwise the shape of the body will disappear under the deposit.
You are buying a set for assembly, and the paints and the glues have to be obtained separately.
