A plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the 1943 production configuration with the cast turret, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (UniModels). The model is supplied as injection-molded plastic to be assembled and painted, and it captures a later wartime version.
The T-34/76 went on developing through the war, and the individual yearly versions differ in the shape of the turret, the hatches and various smaller changes. The 1943 configuration carried on with the cast turret, reworked for smooth production, and it still carried the 76.2 mm gun. The tank remained the main Soviet medium tank until the version with the 85 mm gun came in.
Finish the running gear before you close the hull. A primer works well, then a uniform Soviet protective green with an airbrush, washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
