A set of accessories for a model of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in 1:72 scale, meant to liven a finished model up.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-34 is among the best known tanks of the Second World War. It made its name by joining three qualities that until then had each come separately: strongly sloped armor plates, wide tracks with good going through mud and snow and a reliable twelve-cylinder diesel engine. The designation 76 belongs to the early series with a gun of 76 millimeter caliber, that is the machines before the rearming with a turret carrying a larger barrel.
Accessories for a model of the T-34/76 in 1:72 scale. The exact contents of the set are given by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions; sets of this kind are added to a finished model, they do not replace a kit and are not tied to a single one.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest down carefully, so as not to damage the edges. The parts are not made of polystyrene, ordinary modeling glue will not join them, so use super glue. Before painting, wash and degrease them and apply a thin ground. Try the layout dry before gluing and go by period photographs, so that the accessories do not cover what should be visible. Painting is then something you will manage separately, and you glue the parts on only at the end, which saves work with masking.
The set is for modelers to whom a finished tank seems too clean and empty. In a small scale a few well-placed small things are enough and the model gains both scale and a story at once. The model, paints and glue are not included in the supply, unless stated otherwise.
