Responsibility details are not available.
This kit captures the Soviet T-80 light tank of the Second World War, armed with the VT-43 gun, in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually complemented by a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The T-80 was a Soviet light tank of the Second World War derived from the T-70 type, from which it differed in its larger two-man turret. The turret allowed greater elevation of the 45 mm VT-43 gun, which improved the ability to fire at targets higher up. Only a limited number of vehicles were built, because the production of light tanks was gradually wound down in favor of self-propelled guns.
The small parts of the running gear and the turret call for care, as the model has fine parts because of the scale. Assemble the running gear and the tracks first, then the hull and the turret. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and spray with an airbrush over a primer; you will bring the Soviet dark green to life by lightening the surfaces and with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
