A small accessory set with miniatures of the German Tellermine 29 antitank plate mine in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for building a scene, not a model on its own. The set extends a series covering several generations of German plate mines, so believable equipment for an engineer unit can easily be put together.
In a scene the plate mines come into their own on the beds of trucks and trailers, in open boxes, in the hands of figures or laid out on the terrain of a diorama. It is exactly such small things that make the difference between a bare model and a scene with a story. In 1:72 scale, moreover, making parts like these yourself is practically out of the question.
Separate the castings with a sharp knife and level the face left after the cut with fine abrasive paper, so that the circular outline stays intact. A base color will help even the surface out, and only then apply the final shade. A metallic look of the casing is brought out by a dark wash run into the pressed edges and a careful dry brush. Glue small accessories with cyanoacrylate glue; with pieces lying loose on the terrain a drop of PVA glue followed by dusting with pigments works well.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit on its own. It is supplied unpainted; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
