This set from Firma49 reduces the German Tellermine 42 antitank mine to the small 1:72 scale. It is a resin accessory made by SLA 3D printing with which you can bring engineer scenes and minefields to life at a small scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory.
The Tellermine 42 was a standard German plate-type antitank mine of the Second World War. Its round body with a pressure fuze held a strong charge for knocking out the running gear of tanks. Mines of this type formed the backbone of German antitank obstacles on both main fronts.
In 1:72 scale the parts are very tiny, so work with tweezers and in good light. Wash the print resin residue off them, separate them from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Dipping them in hot water makes any work easier. Apply a thin primer and then paint with ordinary colors; washes and pigments will add the patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
