An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hungarian 38M Toldi I light tank from IBG Models in 1:72 scale. The set has a fine surface texture and faithful detail on the running gear and the hull. A plastic sprue and a decal sheet are in the package. The model represents the early production version of the Toldi.
The Toldi I was a Hungarian light tank of the Second World War, based on the Swedish Landsverk L-60 pattern. It was armed with a 20 mm automatic weapon and a coaxial machine gun and was used for reconnaissance as well as infantry support. The Toldi I version was the first production configuration. It was in effect a typical light tank of interwar design.
Assemble the running gear and the road wheels before you close the hull. Use liquid cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer and lay the paints on with an airbrush. You will create the weathering with dark washes and dust pigments on the underside and in the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
