1:72 Towing hooks - GB

Towing eyes - GB (1:72, Firma49)

A resin detail set of finely cast towing eyes for British military vehicles in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the coarser or simplified plastic parts from the box with more faithful pieces. The set contains closed and open towing eyes for fitting to the front and rear of the hull.

What it is for

Towing eyes and brackets are among the characteristic features on the outline of a tank or an armored personnel carrier. Finely made resin parts look more realistic than heavy plastic, and once painted and picked out with shadows they lift the overall impression of a model considerably.

Usage tips

• First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and cut them off the casting blocks with a sharp knife.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on resin.
• Use respiratory protection when sanding, as resin dust is irritating.

Who the set is for

• Modelers who want to superdetail British equipment in a small scale.
• Builders of dioramas and scenes with armor.
• Advanced modelers used to working with resin.

This is an accessory set, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
