A resin detail add-on in 1:72 from the Special Hobby and CMK group. It is not a kit of a piece of equipment but a diorama set: a wooden transport box with Panzerfaust antitank weapons stowed in it. The set also comes with a small decal sheet carrying period markings for the box and the weapons. The add-on works well for filling the cargo bed of a vehicle, a trench or a depot scene.
The Panzerfaust was a German single-use antitank weapon of the Second World War, produced and issued in enormous numbers from 1943. It reached the front in wooden boxes, which make a rewarding subject for dioramas with infantry and with supply work. A realistically rendered crate with rounds in it gives a scene the feel of the period.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean them up with your airways protected; glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The wood of the box comes out well with a combination of brown tones, a wash and dry brushing; keep the metal heads of the weapons in one dark tone and add the period markings from the decals supplied.
This resin detail add-on is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
