The set contains turned metal pitot tubes and a 23 mm cannon barrel for a model of the TS-11 Iskra in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a set of replacement detail parts that take the place of the softer and coarser plastic parts from an ordinary kit. It is made by the Polish company MASTER, a specialist in turned metal barrels, pitots and probes.
The TS-11 Iskra (Spark) is a Polish single-engine two-seat jet trainer that served with the Polish Air Force and was exported, among other places, to India. The combination of an accurate metal pitot tube and a sharp cannon barrel markedly raises the realism of a finished model.
Cut off the original plastic parts, drill a hole in the remaining plastic and glue the metal parts in with cyanoacrylate. It is a good idea to degrease the metal before gluing and then polish it. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
