An injection-molded plastic kit of two Soviet and Russian combat vehicles in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer S-model. The set contains the BMD-1 airborne combat vehicle and the 9P148 self-propelled carrier of antitank guided missiles. The models are conceived as a brisk build with a good balance of detail and difficulty.
The BMD-1 is a light amphibious airborne combat vehicle of Soviet design, developed for airborne units; thanks to its low weight it can be dropped by parachute. The 9P148 is a self-propelled carrier of antitank guided missiles on the chassis of the BRDM-2 armored reconnaissance vehicle, intended to destroy armored targets with guided missiles.
In 1:72 scale, assemble and paint the running gear before you close the hull. Use liquid cement for plastic and a base color (primer). You will bring the Soviet green to life with a dry brush and deposits of dust and mud using washes and pigments on the lower areas and the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
